Peter Chan: Central, Hong Kong; Bio: Peter earned a BFA in Film/Television in 2007 with Best camera and lighting award for 2 times from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. He took part in various films and television productions in both Hong Kong and China. He then joins the Hong Kong government as a contracted video camera man. His video works various from Hong Kong important events to government APIs, from Grassroots to Powers. Peter finishes his MA in visual culture studies (2013) in the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is now a member of an art group, “Emptyscape” which involve exploring and manipulating local abandoned area into arts. Peter completed his first performance art in project “Wandering Scholars” recently. Wandering Scholars is an interdisciplinary symposium about contemporary culture, art, media and scholarship that focuses on acts of “walking” and “wandering” as strategies of thought and expression. http://www.wanderingscholars.com.hk/
